Memory of Future

Stemming from the 2023 Shanghai Disney Imaginations Challenge, our team designed a theme park and developed the park experience and services based on our original IP and story.
Our narrative unfolds in the year 3025, a time when new hominids possess the ability to effortlessly exchange memories via memory chips. However, Ayan and Atto, descendants of the old hominids who were forsaken by their father, were not endowed with this capability.

Consequently, Atto, the elder brother who awakened first, embarked on a path of opposition to technology. He seized the core technologies of the four tribes, preparing to destroy everything......
At that time, due to changes in the transmission of technology, humanity had evolved into four distinct races based on four technologies: the Sky Clan, the Underground Clan, the Jungle Clan, and the Ocean Clan.

When Ayan awoke, the four cities' administrators entrusted him with a memory reader. As the sole survivor of the old hominids, only he had the capability to defeat his brother and aid the four clans in reclaiming their core technologies......
Our theme park is inspired by this narrative, where visitors assume the role of the protagonist, Ayan, journeying through four major cities to immerse themselves in the local tribal cultures. By completing various tasks and earning trust, they can gain access to the core technologies of the four clans.
Building on the foundation of user experience, I conducted spatial planning for the entire park, utilizing a semi-enclosed amphitheater-style spatial structure to seamlessly integrate the terrains of the four major cities.
(Ocean, Forest, Sky, Underground)
I crafted the settings for the different races, reflecting the unique cultural characteristics of each through aspects such as architectural styles, attire, props, and experience-based activities within their respective cities.
Visitors collect core technologies by using a memory reader that connects to a mobile app. With this device, they can search for nearby clues, capture these clues, or share them with companions.
For the final round, we designed and produced a variety of merchandise, including park guidebooks, postcards, badges, etc.
